UC & CSU Admission Timeline  

Application and Admissions Decisions - 2023/2024

• August 1, 2023
• Access the UC Application on August 1st
• Submission period opens in November
• September 1 - 30, 2023
• Apply for
• UC Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz
• Please Note: UC Berkeley, Los Angeles, and San Diego will not be open for enrollment
• October 1 - November 30, 2023
• Apply to
• CSU campuses open enrollment
• October 1, 2023
  • Filing period for FAFSA and Cal Grant Verification
• November 1 - 30, 2023
• Apply to any UC and any other CSU campus (including UC Berkeley, Los Angeles, San Diego)
• During the month of January, 2024
• Update UC application with fall grades & spring 2023 "in-progress" courses
• Academic changes made after March 31st must be reported directly to each UC campus
• March 2, 2024
• DEADLINE for FAFSA and Cal Grant Verification
• March - May 1
• UC Admission Notification
• UC Santa Barbara usually begins notifying students in mid-March on a rolling basis
• Please Note: UC Berkeley & Los Angeles are the last two UC's to notify students.  Usually in late April
• CSU admission notifications vary by campus
• On or before June 1
• Submit UC Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to accept/deny offer of admission
• CSU campus deadlines vary - continue to check your email/student portal for specific campus updates & deadlines
• By July 1 (Official Transcripts)
• Submit official transcripts (high school)
