EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS

 

            Academically

      • To break from past habits of poor performance
      • To take responsibility for your attitude and approach to all academic tasks
      • To increase personal expectation and perform to your individual best

 

      • To grasp the realities of current and post high school (after graduation)
      • To formulate a plan to reach current and post high school goals
      • To embrace academic discipline needed for goals – be self motivated

           

 

Behaviorally

      • To learn to control yourself and accept responsibility for your actions
      • To be on time, prepared for class, and completed assignments

 

           

Socially

      • To understand proper social behavior
      • To further develop patterns and attitudes of respect, civility, and honor

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS

 

            Academically

      • Understand the importance that an education can make for your child
      • Develop skills of encouragement and discipline for your child
      • Provide a home atmosphere where homework and studies can be accomplished

           

 

Behaviorally

      • Reinforce positive behavior at home and at school
      • Discipline negative behavior at home and at school

                       

 

Socially

      •  Raise expectations of your child concerning social manners.  Respect, honor and proper behavior should be taught and modeled.
