School Timeline & Newsletters

  • EIGHTH GRADE (8)
    • Pre-registration for high school, which will include freshman parent orientation.
  • NINTH GRADE (9)
    • A parent conference to establish a four-year education/career plan (4 Year Plan).
    • Review and insure accuracy of student placement.
    • All ninth grade students will be informed of the importance of state testing and how results affect them.
  • TENTH GRADE (10) 
    • Contact with each student and their parent or guardian to review state and district testing, student academic progress and update the 4 Year Plan.
    • All tenth grade students will be encouraged to take the PLAN and the PSAT.
    • All tenth grade students will be informed of the importance of state testing and how results affect them.
  • ELEVENTH GRADE (11)
    • PSAT/NMSQT, SAT-I, ACT, SAT-II testing information.
    • The opportunity to meet with college representatives.
    • Information on career-related vocational choices.
    • Contact with each student and their parent or guardian to review state and district testing, student academic progress and update the 4 Year Plan.
    • All eleventh grade students will be informed of the importance of state testing and how results affect them.
  • TWELFTH GRADE (12) 
    • Scholarship and financial aid information.
    • Assistance in filling out applications for scholarship and college admission.
    • Career, College, and/or Vocational Counseling.
    • A senior conference which includes a graduation requirements update will be conducted.
    • Parents will receive notification when a student is deficient in a class required for graduation.
