SAT /ACT
As of 2022, SAT and ACT exams are not a requirement for most schools (including Community College, UC's, and CSU's).
What happens if I decide to take the SAT/ACT?
Should you decide to take the exam (s) and report your test scores, the College or University will not use it against you but rather use it for English or Math placement.
What if I plan to apply to a Private University?
If you plan to apply to a private institution, it is recommended for you to refer to your prospected University's Admissions website to confirm if you need to take any of the exams.
Are there any fee waivers for the exams?
Yes, the Career Center team can provide you with a fee waiver to cover the exam's cost. Please stop by room, 803, to obtain a code and/or for assistance on the registration process.
